I am fifteen years old. I live in
Kasisi Children 's Home. I am writing about myself and also
how I came here.
In my family we are nine; four boys and five girls and I am
the last born. However, when my mother died, one of my elder
sister took me so that I can live with her. Thus, I was
separated from my elder brothers and sisters and I do not
know where my father went. Then, one of my elder brother
came and took me from my sister, but I did not like the way
he treated me. Thus, my friend around the place I was living
took me to play but we went very far that we even reached
town. When we reached town my friend disappeared and I was
left alone. Some days passed, then Sister Mariola came and
picked me.
This is how I found myself here. I am enjoying being here
and even going to school. First, when I came here I used to
learn at Kasisi Basic School but now I am in a Secondary
School. My best subjects are Mathematics, Religious
Education, Environmental Science and Civics. To my surprise
in Secondary Schools, there many teachers teaching one class
at different periods because at Basic School, only one
teacher used to teach all the subjects at different periods.
The games that I like to play at school are football,
basketball and volleyball, although I am not good at any of
these games but I try. Thank you all for your support,
